Department of Orthopedics
Musculoskeletal Care
The primary focus of the Department of Orthopedics is the musculoskeletal system, which includes bones, joints, muscles, ligaments, tendons, and other connective tissues. Orthopedic surgeons diagnose and treat conditions that affect these structures.
Orthopedic Specialists
We are staffed with orthopedic surgeons, orthopedic nurses, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals who specialize in orthopedic care. These specialists are trained to provide both surgical and non-surgical treatment options.
Wide Range of Conditions
We treat a broad spectrum of conditions, including fractures, arthritis, sports injuries, spinal disorders, deformities, joint pain, and more. We also manage conditions related to the spine, such as herniated discs and scoliosis.
Surgical and Non-Surgical Approaches
We perform surgical procedures, such as joint replacement surgeries (e.g., hip replacement, knee replacement), arthroscopic surgeries, spine surgeries, and fracture repair. We also offer non-surgical treatments, including physical therapy, medication, and other conservative therapies.
Trauma Care
We are often involved in trauma care, particularly for patients with severe musculoskeletal injuries resulting from accidents or falls. We perform emergency surgeries to stabilize fractures and injuries.
Rehabilitation and Physical Therapy
We have an associated rehabilitation center or physical therapy department that provides post-surgical and non-surgical rehabilitation services to help patients recover and regain mobility.
